PBL Residency Director

The Governing Team for the PBL Residency is seeking a new director for their Project-Based Learning Residency (“The Residency”) professional development program. The goal of The Residency is to challenge teaching professionals to re-imagine educational practices in Christian schools.  Participants of The Residency explore design principles of project-based learning and are guided through the process of developing their own project-based learning pedagogies to promote deeper learning.

We seek a director to grow/scale The Residency in its integration of faith and worldview within this pedagogy, as well as increasing capacity through donor development. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, a growing knowledge of project-based learning, leadership gifts, and the ability to bring multiple programs and teams together around a common purpose.  The director will be involved with coordinating, supervising, and leading several teams, as well as being heavily involved during the week of learning. The director will supervise and direct the following teams and areas:

  • Administrative Assistance
  • Technology
  • Food Services
  • Travel and Accommodation
  • Coaching and Planning Team
  • Registration, Publications
  • Finance
  • Donor Development

The director reports to the PBL Residency Governing Team with the position commencing January 31, 2020.  Time and remuneration dependent upon the candidate’s expertise and experience.
