How can I respond artistically to God’s poetry in Jeremiah 17?
With the idea that every child has great creative potential and God is a God of generous abundance, students will respond to these verses with an artifact, song or poem. The entry event will involve a field trip to a local creek to soak in the creative environment. It will also involve students writing out a word from the verse, without necessarily knowing the context. Students will spend time reflecting on their projects individually and in protocols. Final presentations will include chapel presentations, as well as a gallery walk and/or recorded songs.

These verses from Jeremiah are the school’s theme for the year, carrying out the mission of “A heart for God; a mind for truth”. It connects the roots and the fruit from our 40 years of school history. Our school and community is served by the enrichment provided from more examples of the arts.
